The Manufacturing/Production Coordinator position is responsible for processing, updating and closing work orders, reviewing jobs for substitutions and costing variances. Working with Director of Product to design and implement labels for new products that meet UL, MET and other requirements while maintaining current database of product labels. Works with Compliance Manager and Quality Control Engineer as needed.
Essential Functions:

• This position will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, to assist in the production of finished goods and assemblies while aiding in long range production planning.
• The successful candidate will have experience working within an ERP system, preferably SYSPRO, to ensure accuracy of part number fields and adjusting rules and fields to obtain the most accurate output.
• This position will collaborate with sales, engineering and other support functions.
• This position will investigate inventory discrepancies to determine the cause and work with fellow managers to correct, keeping inventory accurate. In conjunction with Operations and Purchasing Managers plan and assist year end physical inventory.

Work Environment:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. The hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.
Travel:
Travel is not expected with this position.
Required Education and Experience:
• Minimum of a high school education and one year of factory-related experience in production planning; or shipping and receiving.
• Previous experience in production planning or related field.
• 1-3 years minimum of proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of company personnel
• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Familiarity with software programs used in this job preferred – SYSPRO
