The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the sale and distribution of all Speck-Pumps USA products in the Southern (Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and portion of Florida’s Pan Handle) region. This position will develop and maintain a sales strategy plan and solid relationships with all new and existing customers. Daily sale calls must be made to customers, distributors, pool builders, service professionals and manufacturers. It is essential for the Regional Sales Manager to provide effectively detailed information on various products and/or services offered by Speck-Pumps USA.
Essential Functions:
• Scheduling appointments, meeting existing customers to review product requirements, and to determine other opportunities.
• Effective planning to conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically daily.
• Designing professional demonstrations or presentations of company products or services while on-site.
• Mediating between the company and the customers for up-to-date conditions on pricing, service, and latest product release launches.
• Generating and developing non-member businesses accounts to increase revenue, through cold calling.
• Continuously updating all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
• Enhancing up to date knowledge of new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending departmental and training meetings.
• Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.
• Effectively attending conferences and trade shows.
• Using marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.
• Organizing joint sale calls and attending them with vendors.
• Preparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining expense accounts.
• Performing updating and maintenance of accounts of customer including contact names and numbers for future sales.
• Providing product quotes to customers as needed.
• Ensuring follow-up after passing leads to managers with complete profile customer information, calls-to-action, sources, dates.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED diploma and two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) Years Pool Industry experience REQUIRED.
• Commercial Pool Industry experience a plus.
• Excellent business acumen and sales pipeline management skills.
• Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Planning, organization, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
• Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
• Presentation Skills and Technical Capacity.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will involve supervisory of non-employee commissioned sales representatives.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time during trade shows.
• Occasional lifting and/or move pool pumps and build displays for product trade shows.
• You will be regularly required to drive, sit, stand, and walk.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary dependent on customer needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
